Beautiful location
Beautiful location and a Cody house. House had everything we needed. Easy path to the lake. Beautiful patio looking at the water and trees. House fit our needs perfectly.

Wonderful Beach
This house set on amazing sandy beach. Everyone loved it so much. The house was dated, but the view and beach made up for it. We will definitely be back.

This place was in an excellent location with a great view of Lake Rayburn - surrounded by beautiful trees (along with squirrels and deer) !! The lake house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Very impressed with the amenities that were included. This place definitely made our "home away from home" vacation very pleasurable with plenty of space for family and friends to visit and plenty of parking space !! Will definitely re-visit !!

Great stay for low price!
This was our second time staying at this location and love it! It has just enough space for us and it's right by a little beach area. The downstairs area is great for us card and dominoes players at night. Definitely a must for big families!

Great location
The lake house was simple and functional and in a fantastic location with a very nice beach just a few steps away. Kids had a blast playing in the water. Very quiet and peaceful area, it was a pleasure to relax there for a few days.

Great beach area
The beach was excellent the water is very clear for swimming and relaxing. The house was clean it is dated as far as has paneling but, it’s a lake house not a Hilton! The living room furniture could be replaced and would help this place out a lot. All in all I would stay here again mostly for the beach area and the woods around the property. Lots of deer came up every morning and afternoon to eat from the pear tree.

no hot water for 3 days no dust pan anywhere I had to go buy some dish rags for use in the kitchen Ice maker did not work we had to make several trips for bags of ice otherwise all was good

Our stay was terrific our family enjoyed it so much we will definitly be renting again in the near future. The home was clean and had every necessity needed. The waterfront home was very relaxing. The only problem we encountered was that our trash can was full when we got there it wasnt picked up until Wednesday so when we left the can was over flowing again. Would suggest a small dumpster.

Well worth the money!
The ONLY thing I would change about the experience is adding wifi but other than that, it was the best place to spend our vacation and within a close walk to the lake.

Made the best of a family vacation…
The proximity of the house to the lake was good. Upon arriving at the house and entering, we were disappointed. The house was very different than the pictures posted on the VRBO website. The upstairs bedroom where five could sleep was extremely hot. The oven didn’t work so I had to cook a casserole on the stove top. Not good! There was enough space and cozy at times for 12. However, we were very disappointed in the overall condition of the house.

Old school, almost too much but that's about the only flaw. Fully equipped from cooking to swimming gear and a perfect, remote beach.

Overall decent stay
Stayed 5 days. Good: Large area for barbecuing & hanging out from weather under the main cabin area. Large upper porch with lake view. The beds were comfortable, 7 beds total. Layout was nice. Large open kitchen to living room, to be able to cook & talk. Cozy feel overall. A/C worked great! Short walk to beach/boat...not so short if your tired though. Bonus: has washer & dryer Bad: We have 3 young kids, from 2-7. The exterior stairs leading up to the main cabin lacked railing on one side, huge safety concern. The upper deck railing also seemed too large of gaps, safety again. The overall exterior needs a pressure washing at the bare minimum, fresh paint would be a major plus. Has washer & dryer, but they are downstairs, so hike up & down the exterior stairs which lacks railing on one side. The 2 bedrooms on main floor lack electrical outlets for plugging in items. Had to charge cell phones in kitchen. 1 full bath for everyone, there is a toilet & shower down below for overflow I suppose. Interior could use updating, not expecting brand new appliances but 1960s or 1970s seems rather old & didn’t work as well. Overall: some major & some minor concerns. For price, could have been a little better. But we had fun regardless. Lake is beautiful

House has good parking for boats and trucks as long as you park on the grass. Overall house is clean, but fairly old. No door to upstairs loft so not a lot of privacy up there. Everyone in our group felt that the house was overpriced for the quality.

The pictures on your website did NOT represent the house. The paint was faded and there were boards on the exterior that were rotten. There were exposed wires under the house. The satelite didn't work and apparently the owners knew previously about this problem. When my husband called the real estate rep she stated that the owners told her the week before that it wasn't working. We were offered a different locations but felt it would have taken too much time and trouble to pack up the stuff and move again. An owner has an obligation to maintain and perform regular upkeep on a rental property. We have rented thru VBRO before and have always been satisfied. This was not the case this time. We would not recommend this property to anyone nor would we ever stay there again. We actually ended up leaving one day early.

The view and the location were great, and we enjoyed the privacy of the secluded beach area near the water. We were under the impression there was a gas grill and it is listed on the site to bring our own propane, so we did and the grill that was there ended up being a charcoal grill (disappointed). Also, the flooring (carpet and linoleum) was damaged and separating from the floor, which made it difficult to open and close the front door. We feel as though the property wasn't worth the cost we paid ($1029 total for 3 nights) and hope if we decide to stay here again that it would be cheaper. Over all the place was stocked with supplies (kitchen, bathroom, bedding) which we appreciated, but would recommend having more toilet paper on hand. Our group did enjoy ourselves and the view and hope to come back.
