We had a fabulous weekend at Lakeshore Lodge. Prompt communication from the property management. Wonderful amenities and fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful property with close proximity to everything we wanted, including hiking trails. We hope to stay again!

Annual Retreat
We have a Men’s Retreat for the Nacogdoches Jaycees annually. This was our first year to be at this location. We were very pleased with the location and the amenities. We will be booking this location again for next year!

Lakeshore lodge
Beautiful house and great location. One problem was the house was dirty. Dirty glasses and dishes. We rewashed dishes from cabinet before we used them. Hair everywhere. The place didn’t look vacuumed. ALL knobs on all closet doors were very loose and many hanging on barely. The 3 bar stools were so rickety and wobbly it was a severe accident waiting to happen. We put them to the side before someone tried to sit on them and really get hurt. Barely any towels. Not near enough to handle the number of people this place is suppose to support. Same for the blankets… not enough. If people are flying in from our town fora wonderful trip they shouldn’t have to pack towels and blankets. The amount of money I paid for this place should warrant an adequately supplied lodging. All of that was very disappointing. A second kayak would have been great as well. . That being said, the house was beautiful, location wonderful. I think you need to go over this place and fix the things that need to be fixed

Nice place to relax
Spacious older house with nice refinements. The upgraded bathroom facilities and modern appliances didn't detract from the charm of the unique style of the architecture. The wood paneling and creaking floors give the place a stange feeling of familiarity, like on old family home. Everyone in our group commented about how neat the place was. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely recommend it to our friends!

Our stay was great but there are several things they need some TLC in the house. The AC, garbage disposal, the cleanliness of the people that stayed before us, some of the furniture was falling apart. Overall our stay was great but the house could use a little TLC in some areas! Thanks, Britney

Lakeshore Lodge on Sam Rayborn
We just spent the Christmas holiday weekend at Lake Shore Lodge on Sam Rayburn. This place was perfect for our family, plenty of room and spread out so that people could stay up late in the pool room playing games and others who wanted to sleep could easily rest. We had 10 adults ranging from 86 to 26 who slept comfortably and a baby and a toddler. Could have easily slept a few more. The place was beautifully nestled in the trees and water below, spent a lot of our time on the large, very nice back deck. Some caught several bass off the shore. It really was just perfect for us. The Sam Rayborn realty folks were very nice, and o my goodness, the community is so friendly, great loop for morning walks.

Beautiful, roomy and comfortable!
Spent the week with our 3 kids and spouses along with 7 of our grandkids. Six of the grandkids were under 7, the lower level is all bunk beds and plenty of room to play that you don’t have to worry about them breaking or tearing things up. We had rain a couple of days, this lower level was perfect, we had brought plenty of toys so it kept them occupied. Upstairs was the kitchen and game room, there is a bar that has all the utensils you need. We brought everything we thought we would need but the kitchen was fully stocked with spices, every bowl, pan to spatula you would ever need. No need to bring anything. You can see that people leave things behind for others to use, we left a box of gallon zip locks, a large container of plastic ware, paper plates as well as other items. The top deck is huge, plenty of seating. Because we had so many little ones we went and bought some small swimming pools, filled them up on the top deck and the kids had a blast. The lake was really high and very cloudy, didn’t really want the kids in it. They did some fishing and each of the ones that fished caught at least one fish. The only complaint I have is that the first night, one of the ceiling fans on the deck came unscrewed, I called it in immediately but it was never fixed. It got hot on the deck without being able to circulate air and also wasn’t able to help move the bugs away. It restricted our time outside on the deck. If the fans would have worked I would say everything was perfect! I would stay there again and would recommend it, just make sure the fans work, it makes a big difference. Tracy, with the leasing company is great to work with!

Great place!
This place was great! Our family had an enjoyable time during our stay. We had enough space for 14 people/kids. It was fully furnished and clean. There was really good kitchenware, which is uncommon in rentals. Our family had fun with the pool table, fire pits, corn hole boards, and the closeness to the water. We liked the updates to the house too. Booking the place was easy and communication with the rental business on any questions or information I had or needed was quick. Check in and check out was simple. Everything was great! We are planning to come back!
