Relaxing weekend - Great set up
We had two families staying for the state bass fishing tournament on the lake. Access to boat ramps and the lake itself was easy and nice. Plenty of parking. The porch was the best part of this property and having that space for everyone to hang out. The location for those only wanting to be on the lake is great in my opinion. The location compared to the nearest store for amenities was a little distant so be sure to put a list together and stock up on any items you need. Overall, we had a great time!

Wonderful weekend at Hillside Hideaway!
Our family had a fantastic stay at Hillside Hideaway! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Plenty of room, great access to the lake, and friendly neighborhood. We would definitely stay again and recommend it!

Wifi and TV was basically non working. Also, I would not consider this waterfront as a road separated us from the water.

My family stayed here this past weekend and this property exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean upon arrival and literally had anything you could possibly need available. We will be renting this house again!

The cabin was big had plenty of room for everyone. Although the downstairs bedroom, we found a lot of ants in the bed because there was candy left behind the bed that the ants found. We cleaned the ants and candy, we did not sleep downstairs due to the ants. I killed a copperhead snake in the garage. There was personal belongings scattered around in the garage upon our arrival. I cleaned them up and moved up against the wall. Around 5pm Friday as we were relaxing on the outside deck, the gentleman who mows the yard came to cut the yard and weed eat. That I might say was very inconvenient. Other than that we had a good time, we just hope the cleaning lady put forth more effort for the amount of money that is spent to rent this cabin. Especially when we pay a cleaning fee.

Secluded. Safe. Met our needs needs.
This home is safe, secluded and met our needs and expectations. We had brought most of our own supplies but the house was pretty much stocked if we hadn't have. The water access is a bit different than expected but there are plenty of options for swimming nearby for the kids. You definitely just want to use the access for a boat. Lots of concrete parking. Great deck to hang out on. Very comfortable beds.
